I first started capturing her storytelling using the video mode on our digital camera, around about April, but she soon refused to let me film her. So I tried writing her stories while she told them, using pen and paper. That lasted for only a few stories too, before she caught on. Since then, I've been recording her using a mini MP3 recorder, which is pretty unobtrusive, and transcribing the audio later. She then objected strongly to this as well... Nowadays I use a combo of MP3 and video to record her before transcribing. I only manage to record a fraction of the stories she tells. I always have a backlog of stories on the recorder that still need transcribing, as it's impossible for me to keep up with her. To help new readers, I've marked my favourite stories with a star (*), so at least you have somewhere to start if you don't know where to begin. Don't forget to check the older archives too - there are some gems in there as well!

What happened to Cook? 2007-09-03

They want him to cast(?) out some stories, so he couldn’t get out some... some injuries. So he can do all, everything he want about stuff, about his renewing (indecipherable) Corin the Norin pig.

His Corin the Norin pig was so so terrified to see the noises and banging. So want to see what happened, there was more noises and banging, and he stepped in, doubt above him.

There open enough secret. The openare was sleeping... was so terrified that after breakfast Corythosaurus led a court, so they can go out and explore the new open of the vulture. Corythosaurus was ask their mother. “Mother, can we go out and play there?” said Corythosaurus. “Here?” said Aladar. “Nope,” said Corythosaurus, “you can’t, because it’s raining, and our house is wet, and our garden is wet so you can’t go out and play.”

“Oh, sorry,” said Orin, “what about reading some books? We can read some books in the house.”

They reading some books in the house, for a minute later. After the storybooks died, the storybooks was after the books... they read one of the books. Each of them read a book, and each of them put a book back, so it can’t get wet with some raining drops. They put it back on the shelf, after they reading. They eat some lunch after the rain had stopped.

After the rain had stopped, they had some breakfast. After they loved(?) their breakfast, Corythosaurus led a Nineown Open Plains... there were vultures and plasters(?) and... in the workshop.

After Corythosaurus new open adventure, Corythosaurus was so so terrified coming battle, the other stuff. His other stuff was even used, or not he will talk, not his secret that he whispered to T-Rex yesterday after the band came – they were on the path with them behind them a tree.

After the open plains of Corythosaurus new adventure the others led a court. Then Corythosaurus go out the court and he was so (indecipherable) and he was spiky, with those little things that looks like spiky and other thingamajiggies. And no time for little Cook to learn about his grandfather Corin and his fight(?) that he don’t know yesterday. He want to be good and nice, and not bad anymore. Cook was so good, and saw angel hiding, and he get his stuff back, and he get he was... he was knew one of his stuff... and he was so good, until the whole ground was shaking with fear with him. And the character was so nice and so heavy, until he can shake the ground. And he was a good... brachiosaurus! Then brachiosaurus said, “Huh??? What happened to Cook?” And Cook said, “I’m a diplodocus now!!!” he said, Cook said.

“What happened to you Cook???”

“I became a diplodocus when I got magic beak for me. Then I became a diplodocus, that’s how I looked. After I’m young.”

After breakfast, Corythosaurus led a court, not with Cook, because Cook was still playing with his friend Brachiosaurus after. After he grown up... the little court.

The Little Court.

After he growned up he did a little court. After they lurked aside court that was so shabby, diplodocus stepped on it. And he was not, not heavy enough to step on it. She stepped on the spikes, he didn’t step on the spikes. He was mostly clever with the spikes. And the spikes was so terrified to see the noises and the record. They were recording at the open trees after one page of them... one page was pick of Corin the Norin. Of Corin... no time... no time... to lose.

Corin the Norin was so so terrified to see the noises and banging and stuff. And he was so so terrified to see the noises and banging.

(Indecipherable). Chapter Three. They looked outside.

They looked outside, was fine. So after breakfast, “Mother can we go out and play?”

“It’s a sunny morning and you can do that.”

They goed out and play. They wearing their slippers so they can get out through the net(?) on their feet.

After they wear their slippers they go to the house and put their slippers inside the house so the dog, the greedy dog can’t eat them. Can’t eat their shoes. After their shoes and their slippers and the big ones went right inside the house. They closed the door so the greedy dog can’t come in and eat them and eat their shoes at the same time.

“That might be disgusting for chewing, our dog”, and one dog locked in the playground goed out. “That might be disgusting,” said Corythosaurus.
